12-Month Warranty on All Products
All products purchased from Fitness Outlet UK come with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
This covers manufacturing defects and faulty workmanship.
What's Covered
Our 12-month warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Faulty workmanship
- Parts that fail under normal use
- Mechanical failures not caused by misuse
- Electrical faults in powered equipment
What's Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from misuse or abuse
- Damage from accidents or drops
- Modifications or repairs by unauthorised persons
- Damage from improper assembly
- Damage from not following manufacturer instructions
- Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, fading)
- Consumable parts (batteries, grips, pads that wear naturally)
- Damage from commercial or gym use (unless specified)
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If your product develops a fault within 12 months:
Step 1: Contact Us
Get in touch via our contact page or call us. Please have ready:
- Your order number or receipt
- Date of purchase
- Description of the fault
- Photos or video of the issue (if possible)
Step 2: We'll Review Your Claim
We'll assess whether the issue is covered by warranty. We may ask for additional information or photos.
Step 3: Resolution
If your claim is approved, we'll offer:
- Repair: We'll fix the product at no cost to you
- Replacement: We'll send you a replacement product
- Refund: If repair or replacement isn't possible, we'll refund you
Return Process for Warranty Claims
Online Purchases:
- We'll provide return instructions
- We'll cover return postage for approved warranty claims
- Pack the item securely with all parts and accessories
Warehouse Purchases:
- Bring the item to our warehouse during opening hours
- Bring your receipt or proof of purchase
- Our staff will inspect and process your warranty claim
Warranty Period
The 12-month warranty starts from:
- Online orders: Date you received the product
- Warehouse purchases: Date of purchase on your receipt
Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
Replacement Parts
If only a specific part is faulty, we may send you a replacement part rather than requiring you to return the entire product. This is quicker and more convenient for you.
Extended Warranties
Some manufacturers offer extended warranties beyond our 12-month warranty. If your product came with manufacturer warranty documentation, you may have additional coverage. Contact us for assistance with manufacturer warranty claims.
Your Statutory Rights
This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have legal rights if products are:
- Faulty or defective
- Not as described
- Not fit for purpose
Important Notes
- Always keep your receipt or order confirmation as proof of purchase
- Follow all assembly and usage instructions carefully
- Register your product with the manufacturer if applicable
- Contact us as soon as you notice a fault
- Don't attempt repairs yourself as this may void the warranty
